Shifting Room Dream Meaning

So I had this dream the other night where I was in this shifting room. You know, like one of those magic places in cartoons where the walls get closer or the furniture suddenly does a jig? It felt super freaky but somehow also like a bizarre fun house. One second, I was standing in a cozy library with books stacked everywhere - smelling like spiced pumpkin latte, which totally doesn't exist but is quintessentially fall and also kind of comforting. Then whoosh, the walls melted into this garish purple - totally IKEA meets alien vibes.

I think a shifting room symbolizes change; like maybe you're trying to navigate through transitions in life, or who knows, maybe it's just an overly dramatic representation of my fear of moving. Did you ever read about how rooms in dreams can represent your mind or emotional state? It felt like a reflection of how chaotic and layered my headspace has been lately.

When I reached for a book, it turned into a giant donut with sprinkles! Maybe that's my sweet tooth showing up? Or maybe I'm just tired of reading self-help books? Who knows. It was funny though; I could hear someone in the background laughing - maybe it was my subconscious cracking jokes while I was in the thick of it.
